Coast to Coast Challenge: 21 August to 4 September 2010
Setting off from St Bees in August 9 members of Rambling Brass will tackle their greatest challenge yet – walking 192 miles across England on the famous Coast to Coast route.
Finishing 2 weeks later on the east coast at Robin Hoods Bay, the mammoth trek will see each member carrying their instrument all the way. Stopping on route to play on hill tops and valley bottoms to an unsuspecting audience and a few sheep!
There will also be some scheduled performances in towns and villages en route and the band members hope to make contact with a few local bands along the way.
